1. General Provisions

This User Agreement (hereinafter — the "Agreement") governs the relationship between the administration of the TradeOnMarket online service (hereinafter — the "Platform", "Service", "we") and any individual using the Platform (hereinafter — the "User", "you").

The TradeOnMarket Platform is an independent third-party service not affiliated with Valve Corporation, Steam, or their subsidiaries. The Platform provides users with informational and technical access to the selection and purchase of virtual items for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), the offers for which are generated, aggregated, and provided by third-party liquidity providers and partner services.

All trademarks, logos, and names, including Steam, Valve, and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), belong to their respective owners.

By authorizing on the Platform via Steam OpenID, you confirm that you have read the terms of this Agreement, accept them in full, and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree with any of the terms of this Agreement, you are not entitled to use the Platform.

2. Terms and Definitions

The following terms are used in this Agreement:

  • Website — the web resource located on the Internet at tradeon.market, including all its pages, sections, and functional modules.
  • User — an individual who has authorized on the Platform and uses its functionality.
  • Account — the User's account on the Platform, created automatically upon the first authorization via Steam OpenID.
  • Skins (virtual items) — in-game cosmetic items for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) available for selection and purchase through the Platform.
  • Liquidity Provider — a third-party partner, service, or other entity that ensures the availability, reservation, and transfer of virtual items displayed on the Platform.
  • Balance — an internal accounting indicator of the Platform reflecting the amount of funds available to the User for payment of virtual items and other operations directly available within the Service. The Balance is not a bank account, deposit, electronic money, electronic wallet, or independent payment instrument, unless otherwise expressly provided by applicable law.
  • Services — the set of Platform functions enabling the User to browse available offers, select, pay for, and receive CS2 virtual items via Steam Trade Offers.
  • Trade URL — a unique Steam link required for sending and receiving trade offers. Specified by the User in their profile settings.
  • Order — a request placed by the User to purchase a virtual item available on the Platform.

3. Subject of the Agreement

The TradeOnMarket Platform provides Users with the technical capability to select and purchase Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) virtual items, the offers for which are aggregated from external sources and provided by third-party liquidity providers.

TradeOnMarket is a liquidity provider aggregator and provides exclusively informational and technical infrastructure for displaying available offers, placing Orders, processing payments, and organizing the transfer of virtual items to Users.

The Platform does not own the virtual items displayed on the Website, does not acquire ownership rights to them, and, unless expressly stated otherwise, does not act as a seller of such items.

The Platform does not provide Users with services for selling, listing, exchanging, reselling, or buying back their virtual items. The User is not entitled to use the Service to list their own items for sale, exchange, or any other transfer through the Platform.

The availability of a specific item, its price, transferability, and delivery time depend on the respective liquidity provider, Steam rules, trade hold status, the accuracy of the User's data, and other external circumstances.

The Platform does not guarantee the availability of any specific item, its accessibility at any particular time, the preservation of the listed price until the Order is placed, or the possibility of immediate transfer.

4. Registration and Account

To use the Platform, you must authorize via Steam OpenID. Upon the first authorization, an Account linked to the User's Steam profile is automatically created.

User Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority established by the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • Your Steam account must not have restrictions that prevent receiving items through Steam Trade Offers.
  • You are required to provide a valid Trade URL in your profile settings if necessary for Order fulfillment.

User Obligations

  • Sharing Account access with third parties is prohibited.
  • The User bears full responsibility for all actions performed through their Account.
  • If unauthorized access to the Account is suspected, the User must immediately change access credentials, take reasonable security measures, and promptly contact customer support.
  • The User is obligated to keep the Trade URL and other data necessary for receiving virtual items up to date.
  • The User understands and agrees that the absence of a valid Trade URL, Steam account restrictions, a private inventory, privacy restrictions, trade ban, trade hold, or other Steam-side limitations may make Order fulfillment impossible or cause delivery delays.

The Platform may request additional information and documents from the User reasonably necessary to verify Account ownership, investigate a disputed transaction, prevent fraud, and protect the Platform and other users. During such verification, certain Service functions, including Balance operations, may be temporarily restricted.

5. Purchase of Virtual Items

The User may purchase a virtual Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) item available on the Platform at the price indicated at the time the Order is placed.

Offers displayed on the Platform are based on data received from third-party liquidity providers and partner services. The Platform may aggregate, import, synchronize, and display such offers in its own interface.

Payment is made from the User's Balance on the Platform.

After payment confirmation, the Platform arranges the transfer of the item to the User via Steam Trade Offer with the participation of the respective liquidity provider.

Order confirmation by the Platform means acceptance for processing but is not an unconditional guarantee of fulfillment in the event of item unavailability from the liquidity provider, price changes before actual reservation, trade hold, Steam blocks, technical errors, cancellation by the liquidity provider, or other circumstances beyond the Platform's reasonable control.

If Order fulfillment becomes impossible before the item is transferred to the User, the Platform may cancel the Order and return the corresponding amount to the User's Balance, unless related to a violation of this Agreement by the User.

Item prices are listed in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified by the Website interface. The final top-up cost may be determined in the currency of the User's payment method according to the rates and rules of the respective payment operator.

6. Payment and Refunds

Topping Up the Balance

Balance top-up is carried out through the payment methods available on the Platform. Funds are credited after payment confirmation by the payment system or other payment partner.

Funds credited to the Balance are used exclusively for paying for virtual items and other operations directly available within the Platform.

Withdrawal of Funds

Funds deposited by the User when topping up the Balance are, as a general rule, intended exclusively for use within the Platform and are not subject to withdrawal in monetary form, unless expressly provided by the Website's functionality or applicable law.

Refunds

  • A refund to the Balance is provided if the Order was not fulfilled due to the impossibility of item transfer, cancellation of the transaction before delivery, or other circumstances provided for in this Agreement.
  • Refunds for successfully delivered virtual items are not provided, as the Platform's obligation is considered fulfilled at the moment the item is transferred via Steam Trade Offer.
  • The Platform may suspend crediting, debiting, refunding, or using funds on the Balance during an investigation if there are signs of hacking, fraud, use of another person's payment instrument, unauthorized access, theft of virtual items, payment dispute, circumvention of restrictions, or other violations of this Agreement.
  • If the violation is confirmed, the Platform may void disputed credits, cancel related operations, withhold disputed amounts during the claim review period, and refuse to refund funds related to unlawful activity.
  • In case of disputes, the final decision within its authority is made by the Platform administration, taking into account available transaction data, technical logs, payment system data, information from liquidity providers, and other relevant circumstances.

7. Item Delivery

Transfer of purchased items to the User is carried out through the Steam Trade Offers system with the involvement of the respective liquidity provider. Delivery times depend on the offer type:

  • Instant delivery — the item is sent after payment, provided the item is available from the liquidity provider and there are no transfer restrictions.
  • Up to 12 hours (12h) — the item will be sent within 12 hours of payment, unless external restrictions preventing transfer arise.
  • Trade lock / hold — the item has a temporary transfer restriction. Delivery will be completed after the restriction is lifted, provided the Order remains fulfillable.

Important Information

  • To receive items, you must provide a valid Trade URL in your profile and be able to accept trade offers in Steam.
  • Steam trade offers must be accepted within the timeframe specified by Steam, otherwise they may be cancelled.
  • The Platform does not guarantee instant delivery in every case, as fulfillment times depend on item availability from the liquidity provider, the state of their inventory, Steam rules, the accuracy of the User's Trade URL, Steam API operability, and other external factors.
  • If the User has provided an incorrect Trade URL, has not accepted the sent Trade Offer, has a closed or restricted inventory, trade ban, privacy restrictions, or other Steam-side obstacles, the Platform is not responsible for the inability to complete delivery within the stated timeframe.
  • Claims regarding non-delivery of an item or Order fulfillment errors are accepted by customer support within 7 calendar days from the expiration of the stated delivery period.

8. Liability

Platform Liability

  • The Platform undertakes to make reasonable efforts to ensure Service operability but does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, and error-free operation of the Platform.
  • The Platform is not liable for losses arising from the actions or inactions of third parties, including Steam, Valve, liquidity providers, payment systems, banks, internet service providers, telecommunications operators, hosting providers, and other external services.
  • The Platform bears no material liability for the impossibility of Order fulfillment, delivery delays, blocking, restriction, withholding, cancellation, or unavailability of a virtual item, Account, Balance, payment, or other Service functions, if such consequences are caused by actions or inactions of Steam, Valve, liquidity providers, payment systems, banks, telecommunications providers, government authorities, sanctions regimes, technical failures, network attacks, hacking, or other external circumstances not under the Platform's reasonable control.
  • The Platform is not responsible for blocking of the User's Steam account, trade ban, trade hold, changes to Steam rules, Steam API failures, restrictions of external payment services, actions of rights holders, or other third-party restrictions affecting Order fulfillment.
  • The Platform does not compensate for lost profits, projected income, decrease in the market value of a virtual item, exchange rate differences, or other indirect losses.
  • The Platform's maximum liability is in any case limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the specific Order in dispute, unless otherwise expressly provided by applicable law.

User Liability

  • The User is responsible for complying with the terms of this Agreement.
  • The User is responsible for the accuracy of provided data, including the Trade URL, profile settings, information submitted to support, and other data affecting Order fulfillment.
  • The User independently bears the risks associated with market fluctuations in virtual item values, changes to Steam rules, and any restrictions applicable to their Steam account.

Force Majeure

The parties are released from liability for full or partial non-fulfillment of obligations caused by force majeure circumstances, including natural disasters, military actions, terrorist acts, government actions, sanctions restrictions, mass outages of Steam or payment systems, DDoS attacks, hacking attacks, communication network failures, and other circumstances beyond the control of the parties.

9. Restrictions

When using the Platform, the following is prohibited:

  • Using automated tools, including bots, scripts, parsers, and other tools for automated interaction with the Platform, without written permission from the administration.
  • Fraud, deception, misleading, abuse of Platform functionality, price manipulation, circumvention of technical or contractual restrictions.
  • Using stolen, misappropriated, or illegally obtained payment instruments, Steam accounts, virtual items, or other assets.
  • Purchasing, attempting to obtain, using, or circulating virtual items obtained illegally.
  • Creating multiple accounts (multi-accounting) to circumvent restrictions, gain advantages, conceal identity, or conduct disputed operations.
  • Money laundering, financing of illegal activities, or using the Platform for purposes contrary to applicable law.
  • Attempting to hack, brute-force authorization credentials, or bypass security mechanisms of the Platform, Steam, or payment systems.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Platform systems, other users' data, confidential information, internal service logic, or payment infrastructure.
  • Distributing malicious software, malicious links, phishing pages, or other dangerous materials through the Platform.
  • Any actions aimed at theft, illegal acquisition, withholding, substitution, or misappropriation of virtual items, Balance funds, or other people's data.
  • Attempting to use the Platform for listing, selling, exchanging, consigning, or buying back one's own virtual items, unless such functionality is expressly provided by the Service.
  • Any other actions that violate this Agreement or applicable law.

Attempted theft of funds, virtual items, Service functionality elements, data, payment infrastructure, or causing property damage to the Platform, its partners, liquidity providers, or other users is considered a material breach of this Agreement.

Upon detection or reasonable suspicion of attempted hacking, fraud, theft, deception, multi-accounting, use of another's payment instruments, disputed payments, or other violations of this Agreement, the Platform may unilaterally and without prior notice temporarily restrict access to the Account, block the Account in whole or in part, freeze the Balance, suspend or cancel operations, and deny the User further use of the Service.

If the violation is confirmed during the investigation, the Platform may maintain the imposed restrictions, void the results of the relevant operations, withhold disputed amounts, and refuse to return funds and/or items related to the violation.

In cases provided by applicable law, the Platform may share information about identified violations with competent authorities, payment partners, liquidity providers, and other persons whose rights and legitimate interests may be affected.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform materials, including design, texts, graphics, images, interface elements, software code, databases, logos, and other results of intellectual activity, are objects of intellectual property of TradeOnMarket or are used on lawful grounds and are protected by applicable law.

The trademarks Steam, Valve, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), and related designations belong to their respective owners.

Images of virtual items are used exclusively for informational purposes to identify and display offers.

The User is prohibited from copying, modifying, distributing, publishing, reproducing, decompiling, extracting data, or otherwise using Platform materials for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the administration, except in cases expressly permitted by law.

11. Privacy

The Platform collects and processes Users' personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of this Agreement.

Data Obtained via Steam

When authorizing via Steam OpenID, the Platform may gain access to data necessary for User identification within the Service, including:

  • Steam ID and profile name.
  • Profile avatar.
  • Public inventory (subject to Steam privacy settings).

The Platform does not gain access to the User's Steam account password and cannot perform actions on their behalf outside of mechanisms explicitly confirmed by the User in Steam.

For security purposes, fraud prevention, investigation of disputed transactions, and protection of the Platform's legitimate interests, technical data, transaction information, IP addresses, login history, Platform interaction data, and correspondence with customer support may be processed to the extent necessary for verification.

Such data may be shared with payment partners, anti-fraud providers, technical infrastructure providers, liquidity providers, and competent authorities to the extent necessary for law enforcement, prevention of abuse, and protection of the rights of the Platform and other users.

12. Changes to Terms

The Platform administration may change this Agreement at any time without prior individual approval from Users.

The current version of the Agreement is published on the Website. The date of the last update is indicated in the text of the Agreement or alongside it.

Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes the User's acceptance of the new version of the Agreement.

If the User does not agree with the changes, they must stop using the Platform.

13. Final Provisions

  • If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
  • The invalidation of any provision of this Agreement does not entail the invalidity of its remaining provisions.
  • Issues not regulated by this Agreement are governed by applicable law.
  • Termination of Platform use, deletion, blocking, or freezing of the Account does not release the User from obligations and liabilities that arose before the date of such termination, blocking, or freezing.
